The Dewitt Creativity Group is a united effort on behalf of the creatively-minded students at DHS to ensure continued innovation and expression in all forms.

DCG working to promote youth entrepreneurialism

The DeWitt Creativity Group along with the Clinton County Economic Alliance, Firstbank, and The Impact Fund strongly encourage all students grade 9-12 of Clinton County School Districts to enter the Clinton County Youth Business Venture Competition.  Applications can be picked up from the following teachers in the following districts: Jason LaFay (DeWitt), Dee Thelen (St. Johns), Bonnie Ott (Ovid-Elsie), Richelle Deo (Pewamo-Westphalia), Glenn Pung (Fowler), and Matt Dodson (Bath). 

Students will apply for the opportunity to present their ideas on best new product or improvement on existing product or best new service or improvement on existing service. Presentations will be given to a panel of business experts on January 12 or 13, 2010.

The winning student entrepreneur will receive $250.00 to put toward their business concept.

Completed applications and business plans are due December 11, 2009.  Please support this effort at helping to build a much needed entrepreneurial culture among the youth of Clinton County.
