New DHS Theatre Production!

“AnyBody Out There?”

The ultimate bad day: you find out you have six months to live. On top of that, your future looks dismal with no prospect of a wife, a decent place to live, a promotion, or any money. So you pose the question: “Is Anybody Out There?”. The Dewitt High School Theatre Department answers this question with a British comedic twist. Under the direction of Jeff Croley, DeWitt High School Students present John Patricks's comedic reality of a really bad day in the show “Anybody Out There?”.
Recently the primarily senior dominated cast returned home from their trip to Chicago where they studied at Second City and Comedy Sports. They soon will test their comedic timing in this zany farce which puts the audience in the middle of the action.
This show has a simplistic set broken down into three sections surrounded by onstage seating to enhance the character's frustrations. After the performance the cast and crew will answer questions pertaining to the creative process, as it pertains to this show, the Theatre Department in general, and the importance of creative expression as a learning tool. “Anybody Out There?” will be May 12th,13th, 14th at 7:00 and May 15th at 2:00. General admission tickets are $5 and are available at the door however, seating is limited, and it is recommended to arrive early to ensure a seat.
