DeWitt High School student Trey Williams is running Trey's Snack Shack at the sled hill in Granger Meadows Park. The shed sells candy, chips, hot chocolate, soft drinks, and sports drinks. DeWitt Township Manager Rod Taylor offered this entrepreneurial venture to help both the sled hill and provide a real life business opportunity. Kelly Williams, a business teacher at DeWitt High school, helped Trey create a viable business plan to make the most of this endeavor. The DeWitt Creativity Group applauds the work of Kelly, Rod, and Trey in helping to establish a tradition of providing valuable entrepreneurial experiences for high school students.
