The Great Lakes Urban Exchange's (GLUE) "Great Lakes Cities: Urban Laboratories" conference held in downtown Cleveland on July 15 - 17, 2010 was a great event that provided useful knowledge and contacts for the DeWitt Creativity Group. Participants hailed from numerous Rust Belt cities such as: Dayton, Youngstown, Lansing, Flint, Detroit, Cleveland, Akron, St. Louis, Milwaukee, and others. The conference consisted of intriguing presentations regarding urban renewal projects. Additionally, site tours of on-going projects throughout Cleveland were provided to give participants a sense of how the city is being renewed. The DCG would like to thank the GLUE Team for one of the best conferences featuring relevant and crucial information on how to organize, fund, and execute initiatives that Great Lakes cities solely need.
