Invitation to a Day of Conversation
You are invited to participate in the DeWitt Day of Conversation on October 21, 2015. A Day of Conversation is an ideal opportunity to share questions, strategies, knowledge, dreams and ideas with other educational leaders in a non-competitive environment. This is an active involvement format. The focus is on engaging in conversations about ways to improve educational opportunities, coupled with practical suggestions from participants on how to achieve those ideals. A special addition to the format for this Day of Conversation is the addition of the student voice to the conversation. Each participant is asked to bring one or more students to join in the discussion topics.
Some of the suggested topics for discussion are as follows:
1.Creating a culture of innovation and creativity
2.Bringing the community into education
3.The new Pupil Accounting Manual
4.Competency Based Education implications
5.Developing perseverance in online environments
